Overview

Working from photographs, I create representational wildlife and pet portraits in soft pastel.  My goal is to bring the animal to life by capturing not only its likeness but personality as well.  The materials I use are all artist grade and archival. Your painting will last a lifetime.

Process

Send me an inquiry with some photos of your pet.  The higher the quality of the photographs, the better your final painting will be.  It helps if the photographs are taken in natural light at eye level with the pet.

Once received we can talk about your vision and expectations for the portrait.  A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking.  Upon receipt of the deposit, you will receive an estimated completion date.  You’ll be given updates throughout the process.  If I’m combining photographs or changing out backgrounds, you will be sent mockups for approval.

When you are completely satisfied with an online preview of your portrait and the payment balance is received, your painting will be shipped to you.
